Once ler and Hope The sound of music lorax request

Chapter 8: Every time we Touch

She stood there. In silence. If she could talk she would still have stood there in udder and complete silence.
The woman by the once ler had a face,full of mixed emotions. Sadness,hapiness,love,and even Hope.
The woman walked up to her.
"Hope,is that you?"
She reached out a hand and Hope moved backwards towards the wall.
She shook her head. Disbelief and fear,and even terror was written across her now pale face.

"N-n-no-o." Hope whispered.
Once ler's face was of complete and utter shock.
'9 years, of scilence.'
*flash back*

9 years ago~

Once ler had just gotten out of school. He was going to go vist Hope.
She wasn't at school that day. She never missed a day of school so he thought she was sick. He actually had gotten the class to make her a get well card. It was hard enough to get their undivided attention let alone have them take a glance at him to acknowledge his presence. But he had gotten the class to make her a card.

He knocked on the door. Her mother opened the door,tears plastered to her face.
"What's wrong Mrs. S? Did something bad happen?"
Well probably,she was crying.
"Well,you don't need to know. Its to much for a young boy like you to really understand. Is there something you need?"
He smiled brightly hoping to cheer her up a bit.
"Me and my class made a get well soon card for Hope. She wasnt at school so i thought she was sick."

"Oncie, something happened last night. She didnt come to school because of it. Now I need to tell you something about Hope. Ok?"
"Ok."
"She won't be as active as before for a while. She won't talk as much,smile,retaliate,or sing,but she will still play with you. She just wont be the same."
"You mean forever?"
"No Oncie she wont always be like this. She will grow out of it,i promise."
Once ler the next day saw what she meant by she wouldn't be the same.
He still played with her and hung out with her and never left her side.

*end of flash back*

"Y-you're dead,I saw them beat you up and take you away from m-me,you cant be her,she was annouced dead."
Hope started to cry. She fell to her knees and cried.
"They,they took you away and killed you. Thats what mom said."
She looked up. Gleaming eyes staring at her.
Once ler could only stare at her.
"Hope,she told me everything that happened. She told me that you played some chant on your flute and it hurt the bad guys ears. She said that she told you to keep playing it as she ran and hid you. She ran for help but was taken. But she escaped apparently."

"Hope please,please believe me."
The woman held out a hand. But Hope sunk further.
"Ok let's try baby steps." The woman held out a finger.
Hope slowly brought a finger to touch hers. When they touched Hopes eyes widened.
"Angel? Is that you?"
Hope looked up.
"Yes,yes it is."

Hope teary eyed got up and hugged her sister. They both fell to their knees.
"I missed you so much. I was so depressed that I stopped talking,and stopped singing."
Hope said sadly.
"It's ok,im here now. And im never letting go again."
Said Angel .
Hope broke the hug and got up and stared at once ler.
She tearfully smiled at him.
She ran and embraced him in a hug.
"Thank you. Thank you."
He blushed and slowly hugged back. When the hug was broken he decided to do something fun with the new found sisters.

"Who wants to take a little walk in the valley?" He smiled.
They both nodded and headed off out side.
